There were two special reasons for Matthews Steer to celebrate at the 30th annual Wyndham Business Awards, with client Norman Carriers winning the Business Resilience Award and team member Jason Go receiving the Rising Star Award.
Matthews Steer Partners Joseph Seneca and Anthony Seneca attended the gala on Friday 16 October as guests of CBA Business Banking, Williams Landing, joining businesses and community representatives to recognise achievements across the region.
Recognising Wyndham’s businesses and people
Presented by Wyndham City Council, the Wyndham Business Awards recognise the achievements and contributions of local businesses and individuals across a range of industries. Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2026, the awards highlight innovation, resilience, leadership and community impact.
For Matthews Steer, the evening was an opportunity to celebrate our clients, connect with the wider business community and acknowledge the people behind the businesses helping Melbourne’s west thrive.
Congratulations to Norman Carriers and Jason Go
It was particularly rewarding to see Norman Carriers receive the Business Resilience Award, alongside individual recognition for Jason Go through the Rising Star Award.
The two awards provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate both the business and the talent within its team. We congratulate everyone at Norman Carriers on these achievements.
We also congratulate our client Outwest Concrete, a finalist in the Business Resilience category. It was fantastic to see both clients recognised among Wyndham’s business community.
Supporting connections across Melbourne’s west
Our involvement in the region also includes our membership of Committee for Wyndham, which brings together business, government and community representatives to support Wyndham’s social and economic wellbeing.
Committee for Wyndham was among this year’s award sponsors, presenting the Excellence in Manufacturing or Transport Award. Its involvement reflects the important role that business connections and collaboration play across the region.
Thank you to the CBA Business Banking team at Williams Landing for inviting Joseph and Anthony to share in the evening.
Congratulations to all the 2026 Wyndham Business Awards winners and finalists, and to Wyndham City Council, the sponsors and everyone involved in celebrating 30 years of local business achievement.
