A partner at Matthews Steer, Charith leads our Accounting, Tax, and Business Advisory division, serving as a specialised advisor to clients across various industries, from manufacturing to professional services.
Charith advises Matthews Steer clients on business growth strategies, governance and reporting, family succession planning, corporate restructures, M&A activities, and financial modelling/ forecasting.
Beyond his client-facing responsibilities, Charith defines the strategic direction, governance, and operational optimisation of the Accounting, Tax, and Business Advisory division to cater to our longstanding client base.
Charith holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Tax Institute of Australia. He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Accredited Advisor with the Family Business Australia (FBA). He is also currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Melbourne.
