At Matthews Steer, supporting our community is an important part of who we are. That’s why Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea remains a long-standing tradition in our annual calendar, bringing our team together to raise funds for an important cause while strengthening the connections that make our workplace culture so special.
This year, our team once again gathered for morning tea in support of the Cancer Council and its vital work funding cancer research, prevention programs and support services for Australians affected by cancer.
As part of the event, team members were invited to take part in our popular “Guess How Many Tea Bags in the Jar” competition. Everyone who donated had the opportunity to submit their guess, with plenty of friendly competition throughout the morning.
Congratulations to Amalia, whose guess of 74 tea bags was just one away from the correct total of 73, earning her this year’s bragging rights.
Thanks to the generosity of our team, we raised $342 for the Cancer Council.
While fundraising is at the heart of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, events like these also reflect the values that shape life at Matthews Steer. We believe that creating a great workplace is about more than delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients – it’s about fostering a culture where people connect, support one another and contribute positively to the communities in which we live and work.
