Strategy, transformation and leadership specialist Anita Muller has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Matthews Steer Accountants and Advisors.

In March, Matthews Steer associate and specialist tax advisor Charith Mandadige attended the Tax Institute's National Convention in Cairns. The Convention assembled a diverse range of high profile, expert presenters from across the profession including Commissioner of Taxation Chris Jordan, and Assistant Minister for Finance David Coleman, who delivered valuable technical sessions.
As a youngster, before visiting people, Matthews Steer's General Manager Catherine Duncan was often told to “speak when I’m spoken to” and, when she was being told off, she was admonished: “don’t answer back”. Not the best advice for a feisty young girl who was never that good at holding her tongue!
Matthews Steer is joining with the Victorian Government and NORTH Link to partner an industry group that aims to double the food sector output in Melbourne’s North to $5-billion, and add 7,000 jobs in the coming decade.
